dc.description.abstractThe principal objective of the thesis is to show the historical and philological analysis on Taytu Betul's Biography. The analysis and translation is based on an unknown manuscript discovered at the National Archive and Library of Ethiopia. This study incorporates five chapters: chapter one is devoted to introduction where the objectives are set, methods explained and the significance of the paper are suggested, chapter two literature reviews, chapter three philological and historical analysis, chapter four texts and its translation, and chapter five summary, conclusion and recommendations.en_US
