Abstract
This study mainly focuses on irrigation management and its role in reducing households, socio- economic and institutional poverty.In this regard. The study attempts to assess the contribution of irrigation and irrigation management and problems associated with it. The socio-technical system approach was used to examine and undersand irrigation management systems.
