To achieve the aim, in-depth interview, FGD with farmers were performed in three parts of the region (Gonder, Gojam and Shewa). And through systematic random sampling five consecutive months of ye arso ader weg (farmers talk show) program collected for thematic analysis. At the beginning the research has a key target to identify language use that is vague and ambiguous when disseminating information’s for rural societies. However in this study the researcher identified that the farmers’ dialects in different zones are major problems to understand the message. Even though all the farmers are Amharic speaker, there is confusion due to their religion and cultural different. The media and its practitioners have a huge responsibility to prepare guidelines and simplify words when reporting rural social lives.en_US
