dc.description.abstractGlobally, it is estimated that 20% of maternal deaths are caused by peripartum hemorrhage and anemia. Caesarean section is one of the most common operations worldwide, with rates increasing globally and is the main risk for both intraoperative and postpartum hemorrhage which pose higher maternal morbidity and mortality compared to other modes of deliveries in many developed and developing countries
