Abstract
Hyperuricemia is an abnormally high level of uric acid in the blood. It has been linked to several disease conditions including metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, kidney disorder, and gout both in females and males. Few studies exist that explored the prevalence of hyperuricemia instigated thru Type II diabetes mellitus with central obesity in Ethiopia.
