Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) encompasses a comprehensive array of protocols and techniques designed to promptly address life-threatening conditions leading to cardiac arrest. It is possible to reduce the high mortality rate associated with cardiac emergencies by ensuring adequate knowledge and practice of basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) skills (2,3).
