    The Major Challenges That Affect the Participation of Females Football Players: In Case of Addis Zemen Town

    The purpose of this study was to investigate the major challenges that affect the participation of female football players in Addis Zemen Town. To conduct the research a descriptive survey method that include questioner, interview, observation and document analysis were employed. The target population were 70 female students two sport officer, one youth officer, one town admiration and three school teacher were selected by Radom sampling techniques. The study shows that female students did not participate in football activities, because of culture, religion, knowledge and attitude of the society. It was the observation of the researcher that playground is not satisfactory and comfortable. It was recommended that the town administration ought to show efforts to encourage the participations of female players in the town.
