dc.description.abstractChildren who are born outside Legally Recognized Relationships deprived from family environment through means of rejection by their own father. And the rejection mainly violates child right to life, survival and the right to development which has a grantee under CRC, ACRWC and FDRE constitution. The study mainly identified that, despite the constitutional guarantee for all child right, the Ethiopian legislation are not adequately address the right of children to know their father in the protection of their right to grow and cared by own family. In addition, the study focuses on the practical problem at courts on insuring such rights. Due to such identified legal and practical problems, the study recommended to revise the current legislations in line with the best protection for children born out of wedlock and provide capacity building for parents and judges in order to mitigate the problems.
