The purpose of this study was to investigate the Role of NGO’s on Empowering Women in the Community: The case of Triggerise Stiching Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. A descriptive correlation research design was used to achieve the purpose of the study. On top of this, the research sample was composed of 16 NGO Staffs and 288 women participants in Addis Ababa. These samples were drown from the total population using purposive sampling for NGO staffs and proportionate stratified sampling techniques for selection of sample respondent women participants. Moreover, the data gathering tools for this research were questionnaire, interview and document analysis. Meanwhile, the response rate for this study was 100% for both NGO staffs and women participants. Data collected using these instruments were analysed using descriptive statistics and t-test. Besides, correlation and regression analysis were used for the quantitative data while thematic analysis was used to analyse qualitative data. Finally, the study revealed that there was a statistically significant positive correlation between roles of NGO’s in women empowerment. Based in the results of the study, it was concluded that the participation among women mostly is in the form of participation as an end. Furthermore, as this paper has shown, the result of correlation between participation and empowerment was significantly positive. It means that the high level of participation leads to high empowerment. Finally, it is essential to say that women’s empowerment remains disregarded areas, even if some efforts have been made recently. So that a great deal of research needs to be done in detail to provide necessary information to determine the factors influencing women’s empowerment through decision making.en_US
