Abstract
Employing the Q-function formalism, we analyze the squeezing spectrum
and the photon number distribution for the signal mode as weU as the quadrature
fluctuations, the photon number distribution and the spectrum of the
intensity-difference fluctuations for the signal-idler modes generated in parametric
oscillators operating below threshold. The Q-function is obtained by
solving the pertinent Fokker-Planck equation applying the method of evaluating
the propagator developed by Fesseha [1 J. The task of evaluating the
propagator by means of this method essentially reduces to the problem of solving
the pertinent Euler-Lagrange equations
