Abstract
This study investigates the impact of supply chain resilience on organizational performancewithin the context of beverage processing firms in Addis Ababa. A mixed-methods approach
combining descriptive and explanatory study methods was employed to gather and analyse data.Quantitative data were collected through a census method involving 48 beverage processing
firms, comprising 3 breweries, 3 soft drinks, and 42 spring water companies. Qualitative datawere analysed using content analysis, while quantitative data underwent statistical analysis,
including mean, percentage calculations, and inferential analysis such as multivariateregression and correlation procedures. The findings indicate a significant influence of supply
chain resilience factors—specifically supply chain risk management, agility, collaboration, integration, and visibility—on organizational performance in manufacturing firms. The study
reveals that effective management of these resilience dimensions positively impactsorganizational performance. The strategies and procedures employed by beverage supply chains
in enhancing resilience were also found to positively influence organizational performance. Inconclusion, the study recommends that Ethiopian beverage companies focus on enhancing
supply chain resilience through measures such as product tracking, supplier evaluation, standardization, supplier relationship management, and expedited responsiveness to industry
demands. Additionally, strategies such as resource sharing, product development, demandforecasting, quality standards maintenance, and performance monitoring are advised to improve
overall organizational performance.
