dc.description.abstractThis paper examines whether the Ethiopian military courts in adjudicating the members of armed forces comply with fair trial standards enshrined in the various Human Rights instruments. The author explores the normative standards of the right to a fair trial both in the national and international Human rights laws. After a discussion and analysis of the contents of laws applicable to the Ethiopian military courts and their practices, the paper concludes with a summary and suggestions for making the courts fairer.en_US
