The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of team cohesion on the performance of child development projects in Compassion International Ethiopia. This quantitative research aimed to establish the relationship between various dimensions of team cohesion—such as social and task both in the group integration and attraction to group settings—and project performance. This study was conducted to determine how different aspects of team cohesion—like social and task aspects of group integration and attractiveness to group environments—relate to project success. The study employed a quantitative research design to explore the effect of team cohesion on project performance in Compassion International Ethiopia (CIE) assisted Holistic Child Development (HCD) projects. Primary data were collected through structured surveys and interviews conducted via email with 76 project team leaders. A stratified proportional random sampling technique was used to ensure representativeness, and the sample size was determined using Carvalho’s method. The reliability of the instruments was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha, and validity was ensured through expert reviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation tests, and multiple regression analysis. Ethical considerations, including informed consent and confidentiality, were strictly adhered to throughout the research process. The findings demonstrate that cohesive teams are more successful in meeting project objectives, and satisfying stakeholders since there is a positive correlation between high levels of team cohesion and enhanced project performance. The results of the study highlight how crucial it is to promote team cohesion in order to increase development projects' effectiveness and success. / Key Words: Team cohesion, Project performance, Group Integration, Attraction to group, social cohesion, Task Cohesion /
