dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to assess the degree of transformational leadership practiced by Ethiopian Airline's, with emphasis at top and middle level management. Subordinates' perception of their superiors leadership qualities are used to explore the state of transformational leadership practice. Questionnaires were distributed to 64 Managers, 24 Directors, and 6 Vice Presidents of Ethiopian Airlines. The responses were analyzed using SPSS under four categories based on the four qualities of transformational leadership: Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation and Individualized consideration . The research found out that transformational leadership qualities are not well developed in Ethiopian Airlines.en_US
