dc.description.abstractThe goal of this study is to assess project communication and integration techniques in telecom expansion projects in Ethiopia, as well as their impact on project performance. To address the study's unique aims and obtain a precise result, an explanatory research design was used. Primary data was acquired by distributing 224 structured questionnaires, all of which were completed and returned. TEP performed well in the Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closing phases, according to the results of descriptive analysis. Project communication, and integration management issues were identified as highly impactful on project success. According to the findings of the correlation analysis, there is a substantial positive correlation between all project phase practices and project performance, as well as a significant negative correlation between challenges and project performance. Apart from planning, the results of multiple linear regression reveal that all other project phase practices and problems strongly explain project success. Finally, the communication and in integration practices of TEP was met its Schedule and budget and also most of the project phases starting from initiation to closing in TEP the communication and integration practices were good . TEP project was successful in each project life cycle and also after completion of the project network coverage increased, customer satisfaction well improved and network infrastructures improved dramatically especially in Addis Ababa cause of that Ethio telecom didn’t start another expansion projects for long period of time. The value of this paper to contribute to communication and integration management practice amongst the Telecom -industry stakeholders, such as the professional team, Project managers and clients for successful project delivery.
