dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted with the purpose of understanding experiences of mass deported youth migrants from the KSA. The study was conducted in Mersa Town Administration, North Wollo Zone which many mass deported migrants were found. The study aimed to answer four basic questions: How do mass deported migrants perceive the phenomenon? How do they evaluate the support they get from different bodies at their destinations? How they are managing their life in their current place of residence? What is/are their future plan? To answer these questions the qualitative exploratory approach was a better fit for this study. The findings of this study showed that the mass deported migrants perceived the phenomenon with trouble, regret, and desperation due to two basic reasons, the reception and support at their first destination was better than their residential place, they used different coping strategies to lead their lives, and three different future plans such as to migrate again, to run their own business and some others were no clear future plans. Based on the findings generated from the informants this study highlighted that the need of provisions of counseling and therapy, intervention with close supervision, and economic empowerment for the mass deported migrantsen_US
