| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational culture in the performance of project execution in the transmission construction own force department of the Ethiopian Electric Power. In order to address the objective, the study employed descriptive and explanatory research design and took employees of the organization as primary data sources. Using stratified random sampling method the study selected 198 employees working inside the construction task force of EPP. Data were collected using questionnaires and it was analyzed using multiple linear regression so as to predict the effects of teamwork, training & development, communication, reward & recognition and effective decision making on project performance. The findings showed that teamwork, training & development, communication and effective decision making have positive and statistically significant effect on project performance. Communication and teamwork are the two important predictors of performance. The study recommended the organization to maintain and further improve the communication culture so as to improve the project performance at the organization. | en_US |
