Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the different factors affecting employee job satisfaction, the relative importance of each factor and the level of job satisfaction. The list of factors affecting employee job satisfaction in Ethiopian Airlines are perceived organizational support, training and development, salary and benefit, organizational culture and performance appraisal. The paper has used cross-sectional field survey to gather data at one specific point in time. Mixture of convenience and random sampling were used as sampling method with sample size of 388. Descriptive statistics was used to measure the level of employee job satisfaction and multiple linear regression was used to test the relationship between perceived organizational support, training and development, salary and benefit, organizational culture, performance appraisal and job satisfaction. The finding showed that employees were not satisfied with their job and there is a significant and positive relationship between perceived organizational support, training and development, salary and benefit, organizational culture, performance appraisal and employee job satisfaction. The study recommends Ethiopian Airlines higher management to give high attention to the above mentioned significant variables in order to improve the level of employee job satisfaction
