Abstract
Cervical cancer ranks as the second leading cause of cancer and cancer-related deaths among Ethiopian women. Implementation of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is anticipated to greatly reduce the burden of cervical cancer. However, there is limited information on the extent of uptake of HPV vaccination in Ethiopia, specifically within the areas of Sululta and Chancho towns. This study has assessed the uptake of HPV vaccine and its associated factors among adolescent schoolgirls in Sululta and Chancho towns, Oromia, Central Ethiopia.
