dc.description.abstractTrauma is a term that describes physical suffering or injury as a result of an external force or events, such as falls, sexual assault, natural disasters, or road traffic accidents. As a result, trauma leads to a psychological and emotional reactions that arises from experiencing or witnessing traumatic events. Acute stress disorder is a mental disorder that happens after someone experiences a traumatic event within less than a month. Despite the high burden of this problem, very little is known about the prevalence and risk factors for acute stress disorder in adults with traumatic injuries in AaBET hospital
