Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of impact of total quality management (TQM) practices (strategic quality planning, continuous improvement, level of customer focus and employee training and involvement) on product quality for the case of Jay-Jay Textile PLC. To achieve the objectives of the study, descriptive and explanatory study designs have been employed through cross- sectional survey questionnaire from a sample of 195 permanent professional employees. These respondents have been selected from the selected department of the organization by random Sampling method. The data collected through questionnaire is analyzed using statistical measures such as descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS version 25. The study found a significant positive impact of Continuous Improvement, Level of customer focus; Employee Training & Involvement and Strategic quality planning on product quality. Since quality management practices were found to be a positive predictor of organization product quality, the managements and CEOs of the organization should engage in enhancing the qualities of the management practices to increase their product quality in Jay-Jay Textile PLC.
