Agile approach is an emerging methodology which has been introduced recently as a new approach for managing complex software projects to improve project performance and efficiency of software development process compare to traditional methodologies used before. Agile methods are designed for customization; they offer an organization or a team the flexibility to adopt a set of principles and practices based on their culture and values. While that flexibility is consistent with the agile philosophy, it can lead to the adoption of principles and practices that can be sub-optimal relative to the desired objectives. Whereas, accomplishment of this methodology is still subjective and deeper investigation in this area is limited in academic circles. This paper presents a case study of M-Birr software development project where the project team adopted methods from agile in the development effort. The purpose of this research is to assess the adoption of agile project management method and the agile project management practices of M-Birr. The study has conducted a census survey in order to investigate important aspects of project management process using descriptive approach. In order to collect required data, close-ended and open-ended questionnaires were administrated among project team and key project stakeholdersen_US
