| dc.description.abstract | This thesis concentrates on questions regarding existence and uniqueness of solutions to the generic initial value problem in the theory of ordinary differential equations.That is where ƒ is some Lipschitz function. Compact form of existence and uniqueness theory appeared nearly 200 years after the development of the theory of differential equations.
