Abstract

A high quality of work life is essential for organizations to continue to attract and retain employees, and literatures suggests that organizational culture and leadership style play a great role in building employees’ quality of work life. This study investigated how organizational culture and leadership styles affect employees’ quality of work life. The Sample has been selected based on a stratified random sampling method (n=298). The study used Wallach’s Organizational Culture Index (OCI), Podsakoffetal.’s Transformational Leadership Behavior Inventory (TLI) and Walton quality of work life questionnaire. Findings of the research show that; Innovative organizational culture is most dominant and Transformational leadership style is more dominant than transactional leadership style. Organizational culture and leadership styles have stronger correlation with quality of work life and also had a great impact.
