Abstract
First and foremost, I would like to thank the almighty GOD for giving me the ability to
do this research work.
My pleasure and deepest gratitude goes to my advisor Ato Getachew Jemaneh for his
patience, valuable ideas, and supportive advice. His interest and encouragement has
always stimulated me to accelerate to the completion of the work.
I would like to forward my special thanks to the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs
Authority employees. Many thanks go particularly to the Database Administrator of the
Authority, Ato Getacher Alemu, and the customer service officers for their kind
cooperation and consistent assistance in explaining the work in the problem domain.
I would also like to extend my very sincere and special thanks to Dr. Million Meshesha
who provided me with the necessary assistance during the proposal writing.
I am also very thankful to my brother Endegena Biazen and my sister Zegeju Biazen for
