dc.description.abstractAcne is amongst the leading three most common cutaneous illnesses, especially in teenagers and young adults, in whom the prevalence is around 85% (ages 12–25 years). Common complications of acne include scarring and psychosocial distress which linger long after the active lesions have resolved.
