dc.description.abstractWe rst study the rate and cross section for electron-positron pair creation by rela- tivistic muon impact on intense laser beams through the process +r! 􀀀! 0 +e+ +e􀀀. We then study the rate and cross section for electron-positron pair creation by proton impact on intense laser beam through the process p + r! 􀀀! p0 + e+ + e􀀀 in the proton rest frame. The Feynman diagrams the pair creation by relativistic muon and proton impact on a circularly polarized high frequency laser beam is evaluated with in the frame- work of laser-dressed quantum electrodynamics employing relativistic Volkov statesen_US
