Abstract

In this stud y, o n a tt e mpt was made to find the i nt e rr e l ations of ELP n nd acode mic flc hi evement of s eve nth grnde students. I n order t o rl o this, 132 sev e nth Br ade student s we r e rnndomly se l e ct e d fr om Pnt ri ots ' Junior Hi g h Sch ool. Only 7. 69~~ of those ",ho scored 50% in the ELPT f a iled in 0 11 the three subjects. One such is to use 50% in th e ELPT ~s A criterion for promo ti on from erwle 6 to Gr ade 7 if junior high sch oo l stu ' l e nts are to succ eed in their academic studies
