| dc.description.abstract | An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a technology-based system used by organizations to manage their operations. It collects and combines data from various parts of organization to create a centralized and manageable format for resource management. ERP systems support vital business processes such as accounting, human resources, manufacturing, and supply chain management. This research study focuses on examining the factors that influence performance of ERP systems in the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. The study adopts a quantitative research approach and utilizes a descriptive research design to explore the factors related to ERP performance. The study collects quantitative data through questionnaires completed by 109 respondents, and the data is analyzed using SPSS. The factors discussed include organizational culture, top management support, user training, system complexity, data quality, vendor support, and user acceptance. Understanding and addressing these factors can guide organizations in optimizing the performance of their ERP systems and achieving improved operational efficiency and business outcomes. By focusing on fostering an organizational culture that embraces change, promoting user acceptance, securing strong support from top management, effectively managing system complexity, ensuring data quality, seeking reliable vendor support, and providing comprehensive user training, CBE can enhance the implementation and performance of ERP systems | |
