Abstract
The purpose of this study is, to investigate the individual, at the managing conflict
strategies of interpersonal, group, and intergroup levels, as well as, to device appropriate tactics for the effective management of conflict arising in the Primary Teachers' Training Institutes of Ethiopia.
Efforts were made to identify the types and causes of conflicts, conflict resolving and disciplinary mechanisms; and the major duties conflicts. At the same time, interviews, individual reports, and selected case studies were used to sUbstantiate the data.
