Abstract
The aim of this study was to assess the effect of human resource management (HRM) practices on project success, a case study in Telecom expansion project in ethio telelcom. From a distributed total 112 questionnaire, a total of 105 employees from the project participants responded to the survey. The study has found that human resource management practices on project: Project team selection, performance appraisal, training and development and reward and recognition don‟t have a significant effect on the project success. The results came from descriptive and exploratory survey study survey study which was done at stratified and convenience sampling technique. Even though there were statistically no significant effect by the Human resource management practice, ethio telecom need to improve the practices on team selection as well as training and development and continue on the performance appraisal practice as well as reward and recognition practice.
