dc.description.abstractThe study illuminated the assessment of protection and support services for sexually abused female children in the case of Organization for Prevention Rehabilitation and Integration of Female Street Children (OPRIFS) Safe Home. This organization is working on female children who are underprivileged since they are either at risk or victims of violence and different forms of physical and sexual abuse. Female Children, in particular, are perceived as one of the greatest at-risk groups within the society because of their susceptibility to a problem like different forms of abuse and since they require protection and support. This study aimed to examine the service provided for particularly sexually abused female children at the safe home. Qualitative research method was used to demonstrate how these vulnerable female children are protected and got the support that they needed to rehabilitate, recover and rejoin family. A total of 10 sexually abused female children from the safe home were interviewed as the target group and six key informants also participated in the study. Thematic data analysis was used. The finding showed the provision of protection and support services for sexually abused female children at the safe home to help them meet their emotional, social and spiritual needs with significant service efficiency. The finding also disclosed challenges of service provisions. The result of this study would offer information and increase knowledge of concern for integrated protection services for abused female children.
