dc.description.abstractThe Food Sccurity and Nutrition Baseline survey data gatherd from servey conducted in jun/juy 1997 in 47 woredas of eight regional states in the country are used the logistic regrssion model is built to assess the association between child demographic and feedingPractices socioeconomic and morbidity variables and the nutritional status of children under the age of 5 years from the servey report about 62.8% of children under the age of 5 years in the study areas are stunted (low hehight forage) 8%are wdsted (low weight for age)8%are wasted (low weight forage)and 47%are under wighten_US
