| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of investment on economic growth in Ethiopia in the short run and long run time period. For this purpose co-integration and error correction model are applied covering 1981-2011 time periods. The results show that investment has positive and significant impact on economic growth in the long run and short run analysis. Along with investment other variables like imports and exchange rate also affect economic growth. The short-term dynamic behavior of this relationship was investigated by estimating an error correction model. The error correction term was found to be statistically significant and has a correct sign. | en_US |
