Abstract

The main purpose of this paper was to investigate the effect of Total Quality Management prac tices on organizational performance the case of Buna insurance S.C. The study was explanatory research design and the resurcher used quantitative research approach. The sample size of 106 respondents was drawn using Purposive sampling technique. The study findings of correlation and regression analysis showed that all constructs of total quality management (employee’s empowerment, top management commitment, continuous empowerment and work process approach) were positively and significantly affect organizational performance and customer focus has insignificant effect with relation organizational performance. The findings of linear regressions analysis showed that the observed changes in organizational performance attributed by the elements of total quality management practice is 75.7% (r2=0.757). These study also reveals from five major elements of total quality management practices, to fill the gap of explaninig how to affect the organizational performance in the case of buna insurance share company.
