Abstract

In this thesis, we study the quantum properties of the light generated by a coherently driven two-level laser in which two level atoms available in a cavity coupled to a vacuum reservoir are pumped to the upper level at a rate rca. Applying the master equation for our system,we obtain the quantum Langevin equations for the cavity mode and atomic operators. With the aid of the solution of these equations,we calculate the mean and variance of the photon number. Moreover, we determine the power spectrum and quadrature variance for the cavity light
