dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to examine the effect of supply chain collaboration on operational performance of the Heineken brewery S.C. To meet the objective, explanatory and descriptive research designs were used in this study. Consequently, data were collected from 91 randomly selected respondents from the total targeted population. The total target population for this study was constitute (N= 168) Managerial employees (ranked as MT, MT-1, MT-2, it is to mean senior management, middle level management and lower level management respectively) of different departments at the head office and branch offices of Heineken brewery. For the collection of data, the questionnaire that comprises both close-ended and open-ended questions was administered to the selected respondents. Concerning the quantitative data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistical results were executed with the help of SPSS version 25. Narrative explanation has been made for qualitative data collected with the use of open ended questions to triangulate the quantitative results. The result of the study revealed that the actual practice of the organization in three components of supply chain collaboration such as information sharing, decision synchronization and electronic data interchange was relatively at high level, while incentive alignment was found moderate. The study also revealed that the current operational performance level of the company was at high level. Furthermore, the study found that the three dimensions of supply chain collaboration such as Decision Synchronization, Incentive Alignment and Electronic Data interchange have statistically significant effect on Operational Performance of the business firm. Therefore, the management of the organization should give due consideration for the three components of supply chain collaboration to maintain and enhance the operational performance of the brewery S.C.
