Abstract
This research study aims to investigate the success factors of innovation management contributing to the low success rate of new product development (NPD) at Yasart
Engineering. It focuses on examining the company's innovation management practices, identifying key challenges within the NPD process, and proposing
recommendations for improvement. A descriptive research design with a mixedmethods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, was
employed. Data was collected from employees to assess their views on innovation strategy, organizational innovation culture, resource availability, and the NPD
process. Additionally, semi-structured interviews with employees and top management provided deeper insights into innovation management and challenges.
The investigation reveals several critical issues impacting the success rate which include a lack of clarity and communication in the innovation strategy, A disconnect
between the desired collaborative innovation culture and the current organizational structure, financial and technological resource constraints, inefficiencies in the
current NPD process and the absence of a structured NPD framework. The primary limitation of this study is its small sample size, limited to Yasart Engineering
employees, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Future research should include a larger sample size across multiple companies to validate and extend
these conclusions.The findings provide valuable insights for Yasart Engineering to improve their NPD process. By implementing a structured framework, fostering a
more collaborative culture, addressing resource limitations, and investing
