dc.description.abstractGlobally, stroke is the second-leading cause of death and the third-leading cause of death and disability combined worldwide. Even though the prevalence is decreasing in developed countries, it is increasing in developing countries. Quality of care given during acute phases of stroke has significant effect in improving mortality and morbidity. Studying the quality of care given for adult acute stroke patients helps to know the level of stroke care given and to improve the service
