dc.description.abstractThe mam purpose of this study is to analyze how CNN, Fox News and Aljazeera framed President Donald Trump's speech during the nndannual summit of the United Nations General assembly (UNGA) in their coverage from Sep. 3,2017 to Oct.4, 2017.Thirty two news stories were collected in about one-month time and analyzed qualitatively. Qualitative content analysis was used to get both the insights of the media outlets coverage of the speech of Donald Trump at the UNGA and the topics that are salient in the speech of the President as well as the media outlets. Framing analysis was used to analyze how the media outlets treated stories about the President's speech and topics that are salient were also taken from the speech of the president and analyzed separately. The major findings in the coverage of the media out lets are; conflict and attribution of responsibility frames. They are also the dominant frames in all the media houses in their coverage of President Donald Trwnp at the nnd UNGA studied under this paper. Frame of danger is also the other dominant frame from the speech of the president. There were also dominant topics from both the speech of the president and the media outlets covering the event, "America first" is however, the common denominator for both the media outlets and the speech of the president.en_US
