Abstract
The burden of non-communicable disease is increasing in low- and middle-income countries. The global prevalence of diabetes has nearly quadrupled, which equates to an annual increase in diabetes prevalence. Peripheral vascular disease is a major macro-vascular complication of diabetes mellitus (DM). A significant number of older Patients with diabetes tend to have no symptoms from PAD putting them at higher risk for diabetic foot ulcer, lower limb amputation. Despite having a targeted screening protocol in the world, Ethiopian diabetic patients are not being assessed unless they develop a complication
