| dc.description.abstract | This study examines the role of risk management orientation (RMO) in enhancing organizational resilience at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa-Ethiopia (CCBA-Ethiopia). Data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 297 employees across regional depots, reflecting a higher response rate than the calculated sample size. The study evaluates five COSO ERM components of RMO—governance & culture, strategy & objective setting, performance, review & revision, and information, communication & reporting—and their impact on organizational resilience. Regression analysis revealed all five components significantly enhance resilience. Information, communication & reporting (β = 0.616, p < 0.001) exhibited the strongest effect, followed by review & revision (β = 0.198, p < 0.001). Governance & culture (β = 0.125), strategy & objective setting (β = 0.105), and performance (β = 0.106) also showed statistically significant contributions. Findings underscore integrating risk management into organizational culture, strategic planning, and communication systems for adaptive capacity and crisis preparedness. This research contextualizes risk-resilience dynamics within Ethiopia’s beverage industry, offering actionable insights for managers, policymakers, and scholars to strengthen organizational sustainability in volatile environments.
