dc.description.abstract | Two algorithms are developed in such a way that the decoding and encoding times for Huffinan encoding scheme are minimized. Algorithm One is tested for compression and decompression of text files, while Algorithm Two is tested for compression and decompression of any form of file, real time text transmission, and compression and decompression of bitmap graphics files. Programs used in the implementation of the developed algorithms in the above mentioned applications are presented. Results of the implementations are also included. | en_US |
