Abstract
The purpose of this research was to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian disaster response operation with respect to service provision and response rate of the organization in discussion, which is Jesuit Refugee service (JRS). The researcher has used cense data collection and descriptive data analysis methods respectively for the study. The major finding of the research was that JRS have problems of delivering services efficiently, does not have established means of combating the problem at hand, does not have plan to address disasters rather focus on programs, decision making depends on donors, does not integrate the four disaster relief operations elements and finally does not have sufficient infrastructure. The significance of the study is to add to the existing academic writings on the subject in addition it will also highlight the current situation of disaster relief logistics in humanitarian organization in relation to refugee camps and their performance as well as aid anyone who wants to conduct further study on the subject.
