Abstract
Examining the effects of digital transformation on organizational performance in the case
of World Vision Ethiopia was the goal of this study. To do this, the researcher used
explanatory design and quantitative research approach. The study also employed
descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple
linear regression analysis) to ascertain the effects of digital transformation on
organizational performance. In all, 286 questionnaires were distributed among the staffs
of which only 260 were filled in and submitted. Data collected was subjected to analysis
using Statistical Package for Social Sciences software version 27. The primary objective
of the research was to evaluate the effect of digital transformation on the organizational
performance of World Vision Ethiopia. The descriptive study shows that World Vision
Ethiopia employees strongly agree that the use of local digital systems, digital literacy
among staff members, accessibility of connectivity, and personnel support from the IT
department positively contributes to the organization's efficiency. In addition, they have
highlighted a few operational difficulties, including delays in processes and malfunction
of systems that act as major barriers, preventing the digital infrastructure from providing
reliable services. Correlation analysis also proves that there exists a strong positive
relationship between organizational performance and the predictors (i.e., local digital
systems, digital literacy among staff members, accessibility of connectivity, and personnel
support from the IT department). However, operational challenges exhibit a strong
negative relationship with organizational performance. A substantial amount of the
variation in organizational performance can be explained by the predictors' combined
effects, according to the multiple regression analysis. Local digital systems have the
strongest positive impact, followed by ICT personnel support, connectivity access, and staff
digital skills, while operational challenges have a negative effect
