Abstract
The main objective of this study was to examine the effect of outbound logistics practices on organization performance in the case of Transsion Manufacturing Plc. The specific objectives of the study were investigating effect of order processing, evaluate the influence of inventory management, evaluate the effect of transport management, assess the influence of information flow, investigate the effect of warehousing management and investigate effect of packaging practices on firm performance. The study used explanatory research designs. The target population for this study was the employees of TMP (about a 183). The sample was about 125 employees of TMP ,114 were completed and returned. Two of the completed questionnaires were excluded due to incompleteness at the coding stage, and the remaining 112 were used for analysis. Data was collected using closed-ended questionnaire. Quantitative technique was used to analyses the data. Descriptive analysis, such as percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential analysis, such as Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression, were used. As a result, the study's findings confirmed the positive correlation between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The regression analysis, on the other hand, revealed that independent factors account for 59.6% of the variance in organizational performance. According to the study's findings, the researcher recommends the organization to enhance their warehouse management procedures, to have accurate order processing, maintain inventory levels, manage transportation by consolidating shipments, create timely plans and schedules, and form partnerships and collaborations with third-party logistics providers.
