| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this tudywastoevaluatedosimetri cparametersofthree-di conformalradiotherapy(3D-CRT)andanal yzeitseffectoncl controlandtoxi city.Assessmentofthetreatmentpl mensional inicaloutcomesincl udingpain ansinthestudywascarriedoutbasedon reporteddosimetri cparameters,whereaspatientreportedpai nscoreandtoxicitywereusedfor assessingresponse. Methods:Aninstituti on-basedretrospecti s.Stati vecrosssectionalstudywasconductedfromJune Sept2023. ThedatawascollectedusingKobotoolboxandwasexportedtoSPSSversion26 foranalysi sticaltestsandanal ysiswasconducted.Variabl signifi cancep-value110%,thelargestbeing117%.Acutetoxicity wasseenin36(37.1%)ofpatientsfromthese23.4%wassevere.Theconformityindexwas foundtobeb/n1-2in97%ofthecases.Incontrary,homogeneityindexwasdifferentfromzero in100%ofthecases.OfpatientswhosemeandosewasmeasuredlungDmeanwas>13GYin 2(4.4%)pati entswhilekidneyDmeanwas>18GY(EQD2)in1(1.5%).Thereasonforpoor coverage,hi ghDmaxdoseandhighmeandoseforOARsmaybethewrongassumptionof consideri ngallpall iati vepatientsasshorttermsurvi vors,andadvancedpresentati diffusevertebralmetastasi sresulti ngdiffi Conclusion:Adeviati cultyonplanoptimizati onwith on. onfromrecommendedvaluewasseeninD95%,Dmax,DmeanandHI.This suggestsasthereshouldbemoreefforttooptimizepl ansandstrictl yevaluatetheDVH.Lack ofsignifi cancerelati ononmultivariateanal ysismaybeduetosamplesizeandthosecasesthat hadtoxicitymighthavemissedduetoearlydeat | |
