Abstract
This study concentrates on the effects of COVID-19 on ICT projects implementation performance in the case of Ethiopian Airlines Group IT division. Airline industries are more dependent on Information and Communication Technologies services, and enterprises are spending huge investment to design and deliver new infrastructure services and upgrade existing services, ICT projects are the most essential part of organization’s business strategies. Accordingly, the overall objective of the research was conducted to investigate the major effects of COVID19 pandemic on ICT projects implementation performance and identify the other challenges of ICT projects performance in Ethiopian Airline Group IT division. The study adopted the descriptive research design with qualitative research approach for the appropriate completion of the study. The major findings of the study revealed that project knowledge areas such as time management, cost management, communication management, risk management, & procurement management have significant effects on the ICT projects implementation performance in Ethiopian Airlines Group IT division because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the researcher recommends Ethiopian Airlines Group IT division higher IT managements should give the top priority for the ICT projects implementation performance by using the identified effects of COVID-19 pandemic
