dc.description.abstract | Recently Ethiopia adopted Civil Society Organizations Proclamation to give effect to the freedom of association enshrined under FDRE constitution as well as international human rights instruments ratified by Ethiopia, to create an enabling environment essential to enhance the role of Civil Society Organizations in the development and democratization of the country and nurture the culture of philanthropy and voluntarism in the society. The role Civil Society Organizations socio-economic and cultural as well as in political transformation and democratization in a given country is very important. This need effective regulatory framework, pro-CSOs and enabling legal regime. The purpose of this study is to assess the improvement, challenges and the prospect as well as the implication of the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019 on the promotion and protection of human rights. | en_US |
