| dc.description.abstract | he main purpose of this study was to study the role of effective communication on project effectiveness: in the case of corporate Ethio telecom civil work renovation projects. This study used descriptive research designs. And was used mixed or both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The project effectiveness has been evaluated in line with effective communication elements; clear and timely communication, stakeholder engagement and feedback, and conflict resolution. The questionnaire was distributed to 137 respondents based on each variable and 133 questionnaire returned with properly filled. The data from the questionnaire was quantified using SPSS software and analyzed quantitatively. The numerical information is presented using tables and figures. Based on the quantitative and qualitative data, majority respondents were young, well-educated, male participants and has less than ten years work experience. The study focuses on project effectiveness and effective communication. Clear communication, stakeholder engagement and feedback, and conflict resolution analyzed and found that they significantly impact project effectiveness. Also, 41.7% of the variance in the dependent variable based on the independent variables showed which means they have moderate relationship. In order to enhance project effectiveness, the researcher concludes: enhancing clear communication, encourage stakeholder participation and resolve conflicts in timely manner. In addition, training should be provided to stakeholders to have common understanding on effective communication.
